“You’re lookin’ at the problem all wrong, kid,” and then
she gave me one of her smiles that left you wonderin’.
“Your problem is that you’re desperate to fly. To be
somethin’ in the world. To scrape the skies.”
She could see I was getting’ mighty confused, ‘cause I
wondered what was wrong with aimin’ high.
She just gave off one of those sassy laughs, leaned in
real close and whispered in my ear: “You’ve got to learn to fall first kid,
then you can try flyin’.”
