The Trash Men by Bobby Stevenson

I’m just like my Father and proud of it,
We both pick up litter from the street,
It’s the way we are, I think he said,
And I guess he’s probably got that right,
It doesn’t make us soft or stupid,
It doesn’t make us sad or weak,
It only means we care enough,
And there isn’t much of that lying
Around the street these days.

  1. I think you are right Bobby.

I am going to be setting off on my walk soon to try to change this.

    Fancy a day with me?

Have a look at the project.

Imagine, walkwith a stranger, make a new friend.

    Big hugs.
